Peregrine Falcon Mid-Air Food Transfer

Waiting for days for the combination of good light and my ability to completely concentrate on my subject for just that exact moment when the magic occurs. It takes just the click of the shutter release, 1 second. Thats it! After waiting for more then 8 hours (actually 5 years) for this moment I am hoping that I finally captured the shot. It can drive you crazy. This image reveals a wild tiercel (male) Peregrine Falcon (Falcon peregrinus anatum) trans-fering a prey bird from his beak to the waiting talons of his Falcon (female) mate.
