Peregrine Falcon at Torrey Pines

Wild teircel Peregrine Falcon (Falcon peregrinus tundrius) launching from bluff top above the Pacific Ocean at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. I tracked, monitored and photo documented "Stretch's" (the name I gave him) behavior for the 3 years. He would migrate to the bluffs here at Torrey Pines State Park in Southern California, from his northern habitat in October. He would then depart this area in April and fly to his home habitat in the northern latitudes. While he was here, I would get in sync with his movements. He tolerated my presence and allowed me to capture hundreds of images him. Stretch passed away in 2007. I miss his presence. He was a magnificent Peregrine Falcon.
