This is Shakespeare the skipper of our Felucca securing the sail after a day on the Nile. He told us his boss had given him this name when he first started work but he wouldn’t accept it until he had found out what sort of man Shakespeare was. So he went out and found out as much as he could about him.
He is now happy to be call by that name by his guests as he is satisfied that Shakespeare was a good man.
The colour of the sky I’m sure is due to the burning of fields on the West bank of the river.
