A few million years of geologic history.

I was last here in 1973-ish. A number of arches that I had photoed then no longer exist. Instead, there were some features that I didn't recall from the original trip (could be just memory tricks). The place looked familiar but different. There were also many more visitors to the park, more parking spaces, hotels, etc. Forty years of progress & erosion - I'm glad I haven't aged any in that time.

Well at least you've been there (more than once). I'm still trying to figure out how to get to all the places I'd like to see. It's difficult when you're "on call" every other weekend.

Every time I get to California I buy a new "Old Guys Rule" hat. I like the looks I get with it on. Little do they know that inside the hat the embroidery reads, "The older I get... the better I was!" I've been studying mirrors for years and I've come to realize that it's the mirror that's getting older, not me!!

Yeah, I keep telling my wife that I'm not getting older, just better.... she giggles like a school girl.... We did this trip (~2200 miles) in 7 days. We really could have spent more time in each location, but my ADD rules.
