Cultivated in Peru's midlands at about 1.200 m above sea level in the Andes foothills, this kind of coffee can be considered as a "gourmet" type. It is selled to Starbucks and the grains are very appreciated by experts and alikes due to it's unique flavors. It is very bright and clear (not so black) in the cup, though very strong in the palate. Taken with Canon EOS-1v, 50mm f/1.8, Fuji Reala ISO 100. The smoke of the toasted coffee can still be seen.
