Fire & Ice
First attempt at larger scale light painting. Fairly crude, but these will get better with practice and experience. Working in total darkness with your gear scattered everywhere is an interesting experience to say the least. Here's how this went down: I set up and tested individual elements I wanted to use, dialed in settings and I was ready to string it all together. Took about 10 tries to get something cohesive going, this was my best effort. To light up the scene, I fired an SB600 from behind the trees and used an LED Lenser M7R flash light to paint in the foreground. After that I spun a spool of steel wool and painted myself in the scene with an LED Lenser P7 flash light. I lit up the face mask from the inside, not the effect I was looking for, but it made it glow! Finally, I waved around some blue EL Wire.
