2011 PCC Career Fairs
PCC students had a valuable opportunity to meet with area employers April 14, during the school’s annual career fair in the Craig F. Goess Student Center's multipurpose room.

This year's event was actually two fairs: one for all majors that ran from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and a another for health sciences students that took place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

To prepare students for the fairs, PCC Career Services teamed with the college's Alumni Association to hold a series of workshops prior to the event. The seminars focused on resume writing, power greetings, interview and networking skills, and tips for following up with employers.

An "Ask the Experts" employer panel was held April 12 and featured six representatives from area businesses answering questions about what employers are looking for in entry-level candidates and how individuals can make themselves competitive in today's job market. The event was co-sponsored by PCC Career Services and the PCC Alumni Association.
