Lonnie Chisenhall '16
After missing Friday's game against the Baltimore Orioles due to illness, former PCC Bulldog Lonnie Chisenhall returned to the starting lineup Saturday and Sunday and went right to work. While Chisenhall's Cleveland Indians squad was swept by Baltimore, the former Pitt standout finished the series 3-for-8 from the plate with a run scored and two runs batted in. His double in the top of the ninth inning Saturday night gave the Indians their only runs of the game in a 5-2 loss. For the season, Chisenhall, who played for the Bulldogs in 2008, is batting .303 with 31 RBIs, 29 runs scored and six homers. Cleveland selected the former Pitt third baseman in the first round (29th overall selection) of the 2008 MLB Draft.
