Long-nosed Potoroo

My first encounter with a Long-nosed Potoroo (Potorous tridactylus), also called a "rat kangaroo". It's about the size of a rabbit, but hops like a kangaroo. In fact, it is related to the kangaroos. Except for the legs and feet, it looks similar to the brown bandicoot. At the Cleland Wildlife Park, near Adelaide, the potoroos and bandicoots would emerge from the underbrush and come sniff me for food if I sat down on one of the walkways.
