Moorland Heather

    Newer Older

I took this as part of a scouting trip to find a nice moorland shot of the heather. I will revisit this spot and hopefully the wind won't be as strong.

Super warm light on the heather here and you can almost imagine being there feeling that wind coming across the Moor - looking forward to seeing more from here from you Paul :-)

Very nice and the wind gives a bit of movement which adds to it I reckon.

Looks like you found yourself a super spot Paul, and a great composition. Its a pity the wind was so strong 'cos this is beautiful light.

Despite wind-blur a very effective shot.

I think I prefer yours to Joe's to be honest.. getting down a little closer to the heather and including the small patch in the corner has made a big difference to the way the picture reads.. His has worse problems with wind too ;-)

very colourful Paul, love the purple colours in front but also the overal mood you have created and the depth that goes along with it.

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

The composition and time of day are perfect to give the shot that golden light. Lovely capture!

Excellent subject matter and composition. I actually like the movement caused by the wind - it gives a realistic image of the normal conditions
