This painting shows Christ on Easter Sunday appearing to his disciples, which is the vision St Faustina had of the risen Lord Jesus. It is known as a depiction of the 'Divine Mercy', and today (the 2nd Sunday of Easter) is Divine Mercy Sunday. This particular version of the Divine Mercy image is in the Notre Dame Institute in Jerusalem.
