Glasgow Crash Memorial

On the afternoon of 22 December 2014, six people were killed in the centre of Glasgow by a runaway refuse collection truck.

An impromptu memorial sprang up at the crash site in George Square. The flowers laid there were moved by the city council to a more suitable spot at the corner of Royal Exchange Square, near where the first victim was struck by the truck.
