Laura in the Ramblin' Rose Triathlon
19 months after her heart attack, (and subsequent diagnosis of a spontaneous cornary artery disection, followed byt he paving of said artery with 6 stents) my wife Laura competed in the Ramblin' Rose Super Sprint Triathlon (250 yd swim, 9 mile bike, 2 mile run/walk). She didn't win the race, but she did finish the race, which is a huge win for her.

She even managed to do it nice and bloody. A fall from her bike at the start of the ride opened a small gash in her finger. Thanks to Plavix she takes for her stents, that cut bled profusely for the rest of the event.
