tokyo secret blue #7
One thing which never stopped to amaze me about sperm whales is their personality. Despite one of the harshest lifestyles of all mammals, being subjected to enormous pressure and darkness of depths exceeding 1000 meters they seem to be very happy and friendly creatures during short breaks between dives. Seemingly forgetting of dangerous fights with their eternal enemies, giant squids, they are switching to the playful mode, sometimes emotionally reminding curious (or not so) cats. I was blessed to have a few of this unique, wonderful moments of my life with help of Tony Wu during October expedition to mysterious Ogasawara Archipelago in Japan.
