Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros developed in Xtol (1:1)
These photos you see in the windows above, on the completely vacant 900 block of Madeira Street, are part of a project that recent MICA graduate Ryan LeCluyse has put together. You can see the photos (shot on film) that Ryan used for the project on his flickr page.
This is is one of the coolest art projects I've seen in a while. Essentially it involved Ryan finding and photographing former residents of Madeira Street. He then created large wheat paste prints of those residents and placed them on boarded up windows and doors. I've visited the street a couple of times since the project has been up and it's been really interesting to see residents walk through and check out. This street is set for demolition sometime this summer.
If you're in Baltimore or plan to visit, definitely check it out. Ryan also has a website about the project, though it's still under construction. I'll be sharing more photos of the project as I get my film developed.
