Ernestine (age 2) and Jennie D. Buford (age 4)

My Great Grandmother Gena was a midwife in Oxford, MS. She helped deliver many of the children there and had a big box full of their photos.

 

I was able to mend the tears, but as a novice, I'm not sure how to restore the color that's been water stained. Any pointers from you PS experts?
