These are a little challenging but I enjoy doing them.

I previously mentioned that this memorial was huge. Here's a large part of it in panoramic format. There is still a great deal of it behind me. For example, a wall with over 4000 gold stars, one for each one hundred US soldiers lost during the war.

Trish P. This really yanks on my emotions both for the subject matter and the fact DC is my hometown. Great idea and execution on the panorama. Wow.

Tom Powell Thanks Tom and thank you for the fave. If you haven't seen this, I hope you get to visit in the near future. It's quite large and there's a lot to take in. There are bronze cast placards opposite where I stood to take this, depicting daily scenes from that time, i.e, factory workers, jitterbug dancers, etc. They are very well done. If I have a decent shot of one, I'll try to post it. Tough to capture and give them their due.
