Bam Bam Rock Band from Seattle photo 1990

I have started a project of scanning many old film negatives and started with some rock band images. Oh this is slow work. I have got very little scanned yet. I do a image then photoshop all the dust. This photo was over Two hours of spoting gunk out. But the images will look better then when I first did them. I Don’t know if I will print any.

If you know any of the people in this photo. let them know I have them to look at.

I was asked by the then manager a woman from Seattle. I for get her name sorry. for Bam Bam if I could do some promo shots. I had been friends with the managers sister Lorna. Shot in Ellensburg Wa.

Sadly a few days went by and I did not hear from them. Then I found out they had broken up. I some how got a hold of Tommy and he felt they did not need any photos. They never did see my images. So I have found that trying to do band photos is not a paying job. I shot many rolls of B&W film. Never have printed any of them. This image is from my film. I don’t think I will ever do any thing with the set of images I have. But I have many great images I did of this band. really fun people to have met. Tina was just so cool. I wish I had gotten to do more photos of her. She just had a cool way of looking on film. Tina Bell vocals,Tommy Martin guitar, Nick bass, Mike drums. sorry I don’t have every ones last names. I read that Tina Bell was one of the first African American women to play punk, grunge, and hard rock. I did photos at one of the bars in Ellensburg Washington in summer 1990. the formal shot was out side of town next to a old building falling down.
