      That is so cool, I have always wanted to see a bear climb a tree! How far away were you and what lend did you use to get so close?

      It was cool for sure! We watched them all head up the tree when their mom stood guard. I was around 50 ft away using a 70 to 300 x 4.5 Sigma DX. A fairly good lens for the money.

      Great shot! I think that these are "cinnamon" phase black bear cubs-this color (and all shades of brown to red) are quite common for the black bear in the west.
