The West Highland Way
Boy! was fortune with me, I had decided that I was going to take some photographs no matter what hail, rain or shine.
How often does one do this, drive around in the car and can't see a thing except glimpses of great light in the distance through the trees. Well I'll not go into the story of my life but I am very experienced with that scenario. To day wasn't looking to promising but I decided to go anyway, parked beside part of the West Highland Way, got my boots, fleece, Paramo jacket and waterproof trousers on, grab camera, tripod, filters and set off along the way. Goodness why is everything so heavy?
Through a couple of gates and I had arrived at a little knoll which was covered with bracken so I sat down as close to it as possible, primarily to keep the wind off but also to shield my eyes from the very bright sunlight coming in from my left.
Hope this image pleases my viewers' as I have not carried a camera, tripod and filters this far for nearly two years and I was exhausted by the time I got home.
