Bubble Cockpit

Newer Older

My SNOT version of the bubble cockpit featured in many of the original Blacktron II sets. The pilot is connected to the bottom of the cockpit by two 1x1 bricks with stud on one side.

Looks like a pretty tight fit. I dig it.

Nice and compact with SNOT all over, sweet.

I'm sure you could make the front and side trans blue pieces line up a little better.

Very compact design! Your pilot need a handlebar or some steering wheel.

I know what you mean, but I needed to close a gap at the top so the pilot had to make some room for that hinge brick.

I tried about a dozen different things, and all that lined up better needed too much room. I'm open to suggestions, but I don't want to have an antistud side on the bottom of the cockpit like on the original BT2 design.

I imagine there to be some buttons on the part of the cockpit in front of the pilot's feet.

Why not just reverse the hinge placement from the original BT2 design and put the hing at the top?

I guess that could work, yeah. I'll give it a try, since my own updated version puts a little stress on the middle panel.
