THIS is also a statement.... I see far too many people invited in to see an event that began in such intimacy. It's not that I think the event itself needs to be hidden away. It is a marvelous sight, and I sing its beauty. I just think the presence of several spectators puts a woman on stage, and she doesn't need to be in a place of "performing" or being at the mercy of a crowd's expectations. Believe it or not, I have had to trip over people in a crowded room to help a woman deliver. -- DLH
