Dai pai dong on Temple Street

Dai pai dong food stalls on Temple Street, Hong Kong, 1993. Part of this smaller set of photos.

The Men's Street as it is very popular for men's fashionplace is sometimes known as . Another reason why Temple Street was (is) so popular for men is because of the sexual activities inside the tenement houses.

The palette of this pic is interesting? Green shirts and tungsten light... Chance or by design?

No design. :) This was taken from the print made 15 years ago so I scanned and uploaded.

Your Temple Street photos are very interesting. This one especially captures the busy scene--I like the face at far left :)

    Nice warm light.

Thanks very much for the comments Jacqueline. I don't even remember the various lighting on these streets and booths but the set-up of food stalls mixing with flea market clothing items on the street was interesting.
