25/34 VMK In Game Photos

Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom Final Farewell 25/34

Fantasyland is the heart of Disneyland and of course it was a special place in VMK as well. We got to ride classic rides, like Peter Pan's Flight and Alice In Wonderland, and even try to pull the Sword from the Stone!

In the game we had cameras, so we could take pictures of ourselves and friends, hidden Mickeys, or random things in the game. The "black and gold" pictures could be posted on your room walls or placed in your photo album for others to see.

On the first day I joined VMK, I had no friends, so I was exploring around. The load screen advertised the rides, so I knew I had to ride Alice In Wonderland, one of my favorites. It was amazing! They captured most of the scenes from the actual ride! When I got out, I got a magic pin of Sword in the Stone. I tried to use it but nothing happened. It eventually expired and it wasn't until later that I learned the magic was to try to pull the sword from the stone, so you had to be at the sword to activate it. oops.

It was uncommon to pull the sword from the stone, but if you did, you were rewarded with a prize - usually a Fantasyland attraction pin. At the end of VMK, the sword came out a lot easier and gave out many different prizes like Toad Car magic and tiki plants.

Being a story teller, I used the fact that I pulled the Sword from the Stone as justification that I was the rightful King of my Royal Courtyard! This picture hung by my throne to let visitors know I was King Party!

Thank you SunWatcher for this picture :)
