Early Bird Special

You might look at a map of the Berkeley Hills and see "Jewel Lake" and think to yourself, "Hot damn, a lake! I want to go there!" When you go there you will invariably be disappointed, as Jewel Lake isn't so much a lake as a glorified puddle made by a dam across Wildcat Creek. The ducks sure like it, though.
