Smoldering

I changed my profile picture tonight on Facebook to help remember the loss of a climber today on Mt. Saint Helens. He was not a personal friend but there is a bond between climbers who have been to the same place and felt the terror of that edge in climbing that is always present. Here is the story link from the Seattle Times: seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2011099658_sthel...

Also a link to the history and phenomena of this amazing active volcano: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_St._Helens

    El paisaje es preciioso!
Me gusta mucho la composición con esas texturas de la madera del primer plano i las florecillas moradas.
    Besos! ;-)

Interesting view across the fallen and bare logs (relics of volcanic damage?) to the volcano :)
