Kalk Bay Harbour
Here's a six-image panorama from yesterday morning's shoot at Kalk Bay Harbour.
Once again... the slight movement of the boats between images made this pano very difficult to stitch! I had anticipated this problem before I started shooting here though... so I noted the position of the mast of the left-most boat (in relation to the houses in the background) as I took the first photo... and then waited till the mast was (more or less) in the same position before I took the next shot (shooting from left to right)... and so on and so on... for six shots. Fortunately I shot four seperate five-image sequences of this composition... because four of them were impossible to stitch. This was the only one that (kinda) worked.
This one looks much better when viewed large on black.
Nikon D300, Sigma 18-200mm at 25mm, aperture of f11, with a 1/200th second exposure.
