Sea Ball (Panorama)
Location: Simon’s Town harbour
Description: It was another typical Simon’s Town Winters day yesterday, clear skies, dead calm ocean and not a breath of wind all day... perfect conditions for paddling a kayak! The clear and calm conditions, together with the soft late afternoon sun, all made this buoy a perfect subject for another square panorama!
Technique: After blending the two images, I separated the sky and ball into individual layers, and then proceeded to darken the sky and lightened the ball. I also removed a small flying bird, and cloned out some tiny sailing boats that were confusing the background. Finally, I added a tiny bit of brilliance and warmth.
