Streaky Sky Situation

Okay... here is one more amazing cloud Vertorama from my archives... this one was captured one afternoon in July 2009.

In all the years that I've been shooting landscapes... I've never seen a cloud formation that looked more amazing than this one! The entire sky from North to South was filled with these parallel streaks of cloud... which appeared to be converging to a point when viewed through my ultra-wide lens.

I shot these clouds in every conceivable way that day... I've already posted a couple of these photos on my stream since then... and I'll probably post a few more in the months/years to come. :)

Nikon D300, Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm, aperture of f10, with a 1/160th second exposure.
