Tortoise-Eye-View (Vertorama)

Location: Along the Route 62 between Barrydale and Ladismith.

Description: This is what a tortoise would see while crossing the road… will he make it across before that oncoming car squashes him flat!?

Although this is not a very busy road, I realized that I was taking a big chance by placing my camera on the white line and waiting for some cars to arrive. The drivers of these cars also thought that I was a bit crazy… judging by their rapid headlight-flicking actions as they approached me!! Fortunately I came away unscathed… I very much doubt that the tortoise would have been so lucky!

I feel the urge to mention (once again) that I’m really loving this Sigma 10-20mm ultra-wide lens… pin-sharp from one centimeter till infinity!
