Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona - Backpack trip on the Tanner and Beamer Trails, the Escalante Route and New Hance Trail
We did a a 7 day/6 night backpack trip from the South Rim in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.

We descended into the canyon on the Tanner Trail, continued on the Beamer Trail upriver to the confluence with the Little Colorado River. We then took the Escalante Route downriver to Red Canyon and ascended on the New Hance Trail.

We camped the first night within zone BA9 on the Beamer, the second night near the confluence and the third night near where we had the first night. We spent the fourth night at Cardenas Creek, the fifth night at Seventy-Five Mile Creek and the last night partway up the New Hance Trail.
