Cuádriga (charioteer) del Calle Alcalá

This is one of many charioteer statues in Madrid. Built on the top of BBVA headquarters building located at Calle Alcalá (Alcalá street) between the famous Cibeles fountain and Puerta del Sol. The Cuádrigas made by Higinio Basterra with 25 tons of copper, brass, lead and iron.

This image was taken from another building at the same level with the statue which gave a great background of Madrid night lights. It was full moon and I used the tungsteen white balance to get the tones. Soft ND8 grad inverted to reduce the very strong light on the horses.

Single exposure, 70-200mm@173, F4.0, 6Sec, ISO 100.
