1811_0500 Coyotes Hunting
Two sibling Coyotes hunting in tandem through a prairie dog town. Late fall and early winter usually provide my best chances at photographing coyotes, as the young are on their own for the first time, are dispersing and have encountered few humans. One of the parent coyotes, a little large than either of these, was in the vicinity, keeping watch from a distance. I just parked my vehicle by the roadside and waited; sure enough, they came in close.
