Steve Jobs - Minimalist to the extreme

    Newer Older

“This was a very typical time. I was single. All you needed was a cup of tea, a light, and your stereo, you know, and that’s what I had.”

...Steve Jobs, at home in 1982.

With the advent of the new Magic Mouse early last week, it is kind of futile for people to be asking: "Why does Apple hate buttons?" Just take a look at the picture above.

Seriously, do you really expect the guy in that picture above to listen to your pleads about buttons? And you can just forget having an iPhone with a keyboard. Never going to happen, at least while Steve Jobs is CEO.

I'm digging some of your pics of the Bay Area. I was living in California nearly a year ago. I lived in San Franciso two years, Oakland two years and in Los Angeles two years. Wild times.

This image is encouraging as a single living in a similar way.

Geez...I could never live this way, but I'm not a genius either.

May he rest in peace and may his works live on forever.

He sure was the Edison of our time.
