Brown Recluse

A juvenile , it gets darker the second year. When taking pics. of poisonous spiders, one is a problem , 3 or 4 at a time will make your skin crawl. This piece of wood had eight on it. In the South we call it a Fiddleback . What is a Violin?

Nasty little critter. My Mom almost lost a foot to one of their bites. The doctors or hospital had no idea of what the bite was. Because of my EMS training it only took me a quick glimpse. Nice shot, it would have left me feeling creepy.

Just don't touch them!! Such a great photo. I have never had a problem with these, but hubby at work did. Had to hose down the spider webs and got bitten. (Who could blame a spider for that??!) Takes a while to heal. Great photo of one of these.

Hope you did more that shoot it with a camera, the bite does horrible things to a person. Great capture!

Excelent picture! I am particularly interested because 2 members of my family have been bitten by these spiders and I have never seen one. Their bit is really nasty.
