Politehnica subway station, Bucharest
The Politehnica (Polytechnics) subway station in Bucharest, Romania, is unique from paleontological and educational perspectives.

Each semester, paleontology and paleoecology classes are given to graduate and undergraduate students of University of Bucharest.

Since 1994, the Politehnica subway station is also a paleontological research subject, due to the highly diversified and exceptionally preserved marine fossils. These fossils are Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) in age, and they were collected from Savadisla, Cluj County, Romania.
