Aloha ka kou! With the ending of Spring Break comes the busiest and
prosperous time in Hilo, Hawaii and that is the Annual Merrie Monarch. This year
I will be dancing with my cousin's group. I will just say that we live on the same island.
I love this time of year because it perpetuates the Hawaiian culture in song and dance.
My heritage and my love for my people is evident when I dance and when
smile. I will leave you with a song sung and performed live by one of my
cousins, the song is called, E O Mai.
