Hey Poppa-D haven't communicated in a long time. Been busy shooting basketball.

This is a great shot!! What did you do in post processing? I like the way the rocks look. Keep up the good work!

Now THIS one...... That's a killer shot my friend. And not because it's a girl. The lighting on this one grabbed me from the thumbnail.

She's clearly the subject. Love the rimlight. Love the key. Love the fact that the Saguaro on the left (her right) is lit, the path is lit, there's clearly a ratio between key and fill and the fill side isn't in deep shadows. Love the medusa-like hair (not serpentine but has a life of its own). Love the balance with the sky.

Is there a downside? I dunno. I'm conflicted. I might have tried (not that you didn't mind you) a second shot after she passed to get some detail in the deep shadows and do a composite. But I also like the dark swath that separates your lighting from the sky and how she bridges the two by cutting across the darkness.

In short..... you nailed this in my opinion.

Oh, and the girl thing doesn't really hurt things......
