Chinese calligraphy is unique art. A Chinese character or Han character (Simplified Chinese: 汉字; traditional Chinese: 漢字; pinyin: Hànzì) is a logogram used in writing Chinese, Japanese, sometimes Korean, and formerly Vietnamese.

The number of Chinese characters contained in the Kangxi dictionary is approximately 47,035, although a large number of these are rarely-used variants accumulated throughout history....

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Chinese and Japanese calligraphy, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Hi lovely photo but I think this might be Japanese as well. There are certainly some characters that look a lot like Japanese hiragana. Is there an expert out there who would know?
