Face at the window
This is my mate Cockie who visits me daily when he feels like it. (I know it's a very original name, just the one that happened). He comes to the window of my office and sometimes will sit there like this for minutes until I stop pretending I haven't noticed him. Sometimes he just wants to sit there and watch but mostly he nods his head and walks down the roofline to indicate he wants food.
I go downstairs and put some seed out on the balcony, he flies in, lands on the balcony, checks out whoever is standing close then eats. Being such big birds they are quite imposing up close, it's a joy to have him visit. Except when he decides to eat the house and fittings as happens occasionallyl.
