Petionville Golf Course Camp (Delmas 48) - before and after

    Newer Older

The Petionville golf course in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, before and after the devastating earthquake that struck the country on 12 January 2010.

Some 45,000 people made homeless by the earthquake came to camp on the golf course.

Oxfam is providing water and sanitation, as well as employment through a cash-for-work program at the camp. Additionally, we have been a bit creative and are using the irrigation system of the golf course to distribute water around the camp.
