Melting ice sculptures evoke changing climate’s impact on Maasai

Huge statues of Maasai people are carved at the UN Conference in Copenhagen as the first week of negotiations comes to a close.

The 3m high sculptures -a man and a woman holding a baby- were sculpted with chanisaws from 4 tones of ice to highlight the cost of climate chance.
