Harlequin ladybird larva

On a late summer morning, I found this harlequin ladybird larva busy looking for something to eat in a bush. You can tell it's a Harlequin by the marks on its back - the seven spot larva is similar but has just a few orange spots rather than the large u-shape.

The MP-E65 enabled me to get a much sharper shot than I have managed before. It was moving quickly but awkwardly, and seemed to have got itself a bit tangled in some spider silk.
