Up at Cloud Cap Inn on Mt Hood with Chris, Gary and Kevin. Saw several meteors, and one came in close and blew up nice and big. Took a look at the image I got and found that I caught almost all of it, but it had made it to the edge of the frame. Too bad. I'd have given the processing more attention, but in the end it's a miss. Oh well, maybe next time. Figured I'd post it anyway to show how close I came.

Sweetness. I'm so glad you captured it since I was looking downward and only saw a flash of light.

i just seen picture's exif data. nice you used D90 and use ISO 1600, im really impressed. can i ask you one question, what lens that you use? i read, you use FL 11 and f/2.8. did you use tokina 11-16 f/2.8?

  10. outabounds 32 months ago | reply

That's correct. The Tokina is fast and wide and perfect for this shot.
