Arctic Wind

Newer Older

Went out Aurora hunting with my wife and friends from Denmark, Laura and Jan.

As usual a little patience and luck was needed to see them. When we drove off there was no Aurora activity. As we neared the mountains it became cloudy too. But suddenly the cloud disappeared and the northern lights began to shine.

Its a combination of two exposures, one for the sky, one for the forground. I need to do so because there was no moonlight making the foreground to dark when measuring the sky for a single exposure.

Apreture: f4.0
