Winter Fur

Took this one on my way home from a ice-climbing trip. Its taken in a fjord called Hvalfjordur, about 30 mins drive from Reykjavík.

All though I am not a horse man, horses have my respect as a very tough creatures. Staying out all winter, in freezing blizzards, 100km/h wind driven rain doesn't seem to bother them. They just point their behinds up into the wind, grow a winter fur and wait patiently for warmer weather.
