Given to me by Joan Michaels Paque, as some wonderful background information on the work of Ron Resch. Fantastic! Thank you so much, Joan!

You tessellation people are just so smart. I can't even imagine being able to think that way.

I'm just astounded because his desk and my desk look a lot alike, but there's about 35 years difference between them... really shows me that there's nothing new under the sun!

WOW, he sure had some large pieces of paper. Thanks for sharing these Eric.

Any information on this guy seems quite rare.

Well, I'm just piecing things together, but I did receive an email from him directly after posting a story about him on my blog a while back.

You can visit his site at blank, which has a number of photos and some other background info on his work. He also has a film ("the Paper and Stick Film") which is available for purchase through the site, although the last time I checked the purchasing link was broken.

Anyway, I find his work really impressive, and it pre-dates a lot of of the other tessellation work out there, which makes it important to me as well.

(update 2011): his website is gone, so I removed the link. sorry about that.
