Robert Tanguay

Robert Tanguay, an OSU researcher in the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology and the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute checks tanks of zebra fish. Tanguay uses zebra fish to examine the biological interactions of nanomaterials with biological systems. Embryonic zebra fish are particularly useful for studying the effects of nanomaterials on living organisms because they develop quickly, are transparent and can be easily maintained in small amounts of water.
