A Ship of Dreams

    Newer Older

We were on the last hill before the fence closed off our grandfather's pasture, where even his sheep didn't ruminate. We lay on our backs watching the clouds and out from the rolling clouds formed a gigantic pink ship, bigger than most houses we'd ever seen. It was coming for us, splitting the clouds, growing bigger and bigger, until it stopped before us. A stubby man with a Napoleon hat yelled down to us, "The ship leaves in about an hour, see to it that yer on it!"

A beautiful pink and blue galleon in cellulouid is paired with an antique cracker jack compass charm that sits in a ship's wheel (and it still works!). On brass round chain with a lobster clasp closure.

    The ship measures 1.5inches/3.75cms.
The bracelet measures 6.75inches/17cms. This can be lengthened or shortened at your desired length.

I love the old celluloid charms like this ship, and this bracelet is great! Perfect, in fact.
