Strange, Fluffy Plant Hopper (Metcalfa pruinosa)

At first I thought it was a strange leafhopper, but later found out it is a planthopper. These can get really fluffy with white stuff. Also known as a "Citrus Fatid Planthopper"

    Love the color.

When I saw the small one, I thought it was a fish.

    Hello!
First of all, your pictures are GREAT!
I also spotted this insect in the orchard at the University of Agronomic Sciences in Bucharest, Romania - just yesterday. It seems that Metcalfa pruinosa originated from USA and it is spreadint throughout Europe, affecting many species of host plants (ornamentals, fruit trees...and it seems that even some vegetables).
